In an odour test according to VDA 270, the odour of a material is determined by a trained test panel and evaluated with grades. According to VDA 270, the scale for the odour test ranges from grade 1 "imperceptible" to grade 6 "unbearable". A typical threshold value for the odour test according to VDA 270 is the odour grade < 3.0.
